This morning celebration has the pleasure of honoring three remarkable Horizons Atlanta champions whose leadership and volunteerism has advanced opportunity for our scholars, and one incredible scholar who has stood out among peers this past summer. Honorees: Georgia Power – Horizons Atlanta Champion of the Year Award Georgia Tech CEISMC – Horizons Atlanta Education Champion of the Year Award Ajai Brinkley and Isla Edwards – Horizons Atlanta Alumni Champion of the Year Award Proceeds from the Champions Breakfast provide critical, unrestricted support that sustains high-impact literacy, hands-on STEAM learning, swim and wellness, and family engagement - helping nearly 1,000 scholars build skills, confidence and a love of learning that lasts.
